Serendipity in the Garden

I know I’ve spoken with a few of you over the years about this topic. Every day, I plan plant combinations, and when they work particularly well, I am thrilled. But every now and then, things just happen, without planning. Certain things seed together, or plants accidently land next to each other (you know, like when the pack of petunias is supposed to be all purple and one turns out to be red)—and this magical combination of textures, or colors, or whatever just happens. Every year, I see this, and this year I took some photos. I couldn’t have planned this perfection if I tried. Enjoy!
